For the last release of the Year, we are delighted to present our very good friend Marea. She is one of the most important female DJ / producer from Medellin, working actively within the feminist community. Marea Began to play in her hometown in 2006 with her collective "PAUSE", in 2008 she moved to Medellin where she began to play in different club spaces across the city. In 2016 she co founded the collective "NOTT", a collective that seeks to open spaces for women's' voices in the electronic music scene. Marea has since been playing in renowned venues across throughout Colombia and South America, such as Kaputt, Video Club, Tunnel, Sonido Central and Calle 9. Virgo Lucifera was born out of the strange pandemic isolation and developed alongside its evolution through an internal exploration of intuitive musical flow, without forcing any genre or path. It is inspired by the alchemy that happens when the elements that occupy the inhabited tropics are manifested, evolving mysterious atmospheres that evoke the mystique of the visible forms of matter from the invisible waves that contain all of our reality.
